December 2024 – Leaning Into Love
Did you know in the Nava Rasa tradition that Disgust is the opposite of love? When we are falling away from love we stumble into a place of disgust. Prolonged disgust can spiral into negative thinking, shame, and eventually depression, where we feel overwhelmed by dissatisfaction. Let us all lean into love with courage, hope, and healing. When leaning into love we need to find grace, patience, and gentleness with ourselves, alongside being brutally honest at the same time. Moving from Disgust to Love can take some time or maybe not much time at all, but it’s important to remember that we get to choose where we stay on this emotional spectrum.
